seasons each season lasts one month one full year is six months
THE WET SEASON;; The wet season in Sublime is exactly what you think it is. The rain never seems to stop, it just keeps on coming, flooding almost every inch of the land. The clouds cover the sky, their darkness making a plague of depression all too common. Bodies of water overflow, making finding high ground a top priority in many of the inhabitants.
THE GROWING SEASON;; Right after the wet season, the ground seems to come alive. Greenery flourishes as the water receds, trees go from deadness to alive and huge. The beauty of the growing season has no words to describe it, you just have to experience it.
THE DRY SEASON;; Sublime experiences droughts every year, though they differ on intensity. Most of the time they are mild droughts, some rain still falls but the smaller bodies of water manage to shrink. It's a dangerous time for the hunted, sometimes the heat and dehydration can get to the predator's head.
THE HOT SEASON;; Normal weather patterns continue to happen, a steady rate of precipitation occurs. Only the plants that can survive in the heat can grow and thrive, however, making food not too scarce, but still highly sought after. Temperatures rise in the 100 degrees fahrenheit area, much like a desert.
THE COLD SEASON;; After what seems like an eternity of dryness and heat, comes the extreme opposite. Sometimes a relief, but sometimes more like a curse. It's bone chilling cold, with some snow and rain, the water freezes over and the ground frosts in the mornings. Temperatures dwindle around and slightly above the freezing temperatures.
THE SNOW SEASON;; After the cold season, it gets even colder. Snow, hail, and sleet fall like there is no tomorrow. The intensity of the storms depend on how cold the cold season was, the colder the worse, the warmer the better. There have been a few large storms resembling an ice age, taking the lives of many in its cold hands.

If you are interested in getting powers for your character, there are some things you need to do first. We've made it so that powers are not something characters are born with, rather they are givenby certain individuals. This way we can control the population of those with powers, and cut it off at anytime.
There are a few horses out there who are given the power of Bestowal. These horses are the only ones who are allowed to grant other horses powers, them and the administration of Sublime. These horses are picked by staff, their players given the run-down of what to do and all of that... You May Not Ask For Bestowal. It is your job to find one of these horses in character, and request the power you want.
Now, after you have requested the power, the Bestowing Horse chooses whether or not they want you to have said power. When they say know, you are more than welcome to go ask another, but keep in mind that they all keep contact and you may just get the same answer. If they say yes to your request, they will give you a task that needs to be fulfilled before you get the power. These quests can be anything from successfully taking over a land or stealing a mare to digging a large hole for a lake. Truth of the matter is, these horses with Bestowal enjoy watching you work. And they'll push you to your limits to see if you are worthy. You may only need to complete one quest, or even five, it depends on how worthy they think you are and how persistent you are.
There may be times when staff will place a ban on the distribution of powers if the numbers get too high. We still want the normal horses out there to maintain diversity, otherwise there'd be nothing special about the powers because everyone would have them.
